post randomcon

We had an illustrious time at RandomCon! We were reacquainted with old friends and made new acquaintences, which will in turn, become old friends. The youngsters enjoyed the video game room, and the old board games like, “Apples to Apples”, “Yahtzee”, “Dominoes”, and “Conflict.” Matt, Espy, Lorena and Duncan were privileged to play “Tunnels and Trolls”, with its inventor, Ken St. Andre ( . Also, we were fortunate to meet Todd VanHooser ( and watch his role playing game, “The Laughing Moon Chronicles”, based on his epic books. This is sure to be a successful series based on the enthusiasm of the gamers. During all this mayhem, we took a break and joined an enthusiastic group to preview upcoming movies. This will be a spectacular season for adventure, thrills, and comedies! Matt brought his own handcrafted pieces for “Settlers of Catan”, and was, himself, ardently received. Thanks to people like Bob, Susan, Craig, Gary, and Ric (, the convention was friendly and invigorating.
