August

It is indeed August and as we promised – we are lowering our web prices. We have paid off our financial start up fees. We will now be selling our on-line items at a 50 percent reduction!!! If you have been waiting to add to your collection – now is the time. We believe in sharing our good fortune with loyal friends. If you have ordered from us in the past – simply mention it on your new order and we will surprise you with a free gift – the gift of a copyrighted, unseen, original print.

October 31st (Halloween day!) We will be at the Irish Festival. As you might remember, this takes place at Margaret T. Hance Park and Irish Cultural Center. Check out their link for all the details. We are especially glad to be invited back to this event, even if it is on such a special day. This event is one of the best, well run activities in Phoenix. The people are nice and it is a very family orientated show! You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy good food and fantastic entertainment and shopping!

This event is in the Mesa Community College parking lot and parking and admission is free!!!! Does your child love dinosaurs? Where else can you buy him/her dino poop! Do you love crystals! Have you always wanted to talk with someone that really knows his “stuff”? Or, do you just love looking at beautiful things? Do you like good food? This is the show for you and your family.
We have been invited to more shows, and will post the dates and events when we work out conflicting dates and, most importantly, we want to make sure the events are truly family orientated.

post randomcon

We had an illustrious time at RandomCon! We were reacquainted with old friends and made new acquaintences, which will in turn, become old friends. The youngsters enjoyed the video game room, and the old board games like, “Apples to Apples”, “Yahtzee”, “Dominoes”, and “Conflict.” Matt, Espy, Lorena and Duncan were privileged to play “Tunnels and Trolls”, with its inventor, Ken St. Andre (Kenstandre@yahoo.com) . Also, we were fortunate to meet Todd VanHooser (www.toddvanhooser.com) and watch his role playing game, “The Laughing Moon Chronicles”, based on his epic books. This is sure to be a successful series based on the enthusiasm of the gamers. During all this mayhem, we took a break and joined an enthusiastic group to preview upcoming movies. This will be a spectacular season for adventure, thrills, and comedies! Matt brought his own handcrafted pieces for “Settlers of Catan”, and was, himself, ardently received. Thanks to people like Bob, Susan, Craig, Gary, and Ric (www.FlyingBuffalo.com), the convention was friendly and invigorating.

January

Well, it's the new year!! What a beginning. Unfortunately, I didn't get to post January's events as we got so dang busy that I just didn't get to it. So, we had the Gem and Mineral Show (which was fun- it was hard to keep our profits because there was such cool stuff there, but we managed) and coming in February we have the Highland Games in Phoenix. Should be a blast. We hope to see some old faces and learn some new ones:)

Now for updating the website!!!! I'm getting to it. Hope to have it done by February.
