Christkindlmarkt - A Celebration of German Holiday Traditions
The Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures will present its seventh annual Christkindlmarkt -- a traditional German Christkindlmarkt in downtown Phoenix at the Heritage Square, 7th Street and Monroe Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 10 a.m. to 5p.m.
Browse through traditional handicrafts, including handmade soaps and candles, jewelry, ornaments and toys. Enjoy traditional Christmas food and beverage specialties from Germany, including Nuernberger bratwurst and wieners, sauerkraut, Gulasch soup, real German Laugenbrezeln (hot soft pretzels), apple strudel, "Lebcake" style gingerbread cookies (Lebkuchen), hot roasted chestnuts, roasted sugar almonds (gebrannte mandeln), German Christmas cookies, hot mulled wine (Gluehwein), hot apple cider, hot cocoa, coffee (available with a variety of schnapps), and German winter beer from Warsteiner.

What is Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention II?
Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention II is America's first and only Steampunk convention and festival that takes place in a western-themed town. After an incredibly successful event in 2011, we're very excited to make this year's convention larger then ever before!
Our event is within Old Tucson, a famous movie studio and amusement park built in 1939. For this weekend only, Old Tucson is transforming into the world's only Western-style Steampunk Theme Park!
Concerts, street performers, special events, panels, workshops, rides, games, and much more are here for your enjoyment!

We will feature Pipers, Irish Step Dancers, Some of the best Irish Music in the Valley, Food, Drink, A Craft Sale and for the kids there will be numerous kids games with prizes. 4th Annual Faerie Festival

I really must apologize for not posting since November. It has been a whirlwind. We took a couple of weeks off for the Holidays. I didn't get to posting our December's- Mesa Antique Show. I promise to be more vigilant in posting upcoming events.
On short notice... this weekend, January 15-17, is Darkcon.
Darkcon will be held at the Grace Inn in Ahwatukee
February brings us the Highland Games, 27th- 28th. Fun for the entire family and a great way to teach your children about Scottish history (not to mention good food too.. I'm all about the food!!)
